G. Chidester Obituary
G. CHRISTIAN CHIDESTER, owner and operator of Dunright by Chris(a registered trademark), a longtime resident and business owner of Richmond, Texas, died September 15 in Bryan, TX. Chris restored classic cars and was well known in the classic car community throughout the Houston area. Chris had relocated to Bryan in 2004, building a new shop in cooperation with a former student, Doug Leopold, who owns Classic Collision and Restoration in Bryan. Chris is survived by his parents, adopted twin brother and sister, Jenifer & Jeffrey, his aunt Ida Grimes in Maryland; aunt Stella Syckes in Arizona; uncles, Don Chidester in Virginia & Robert Synder in Williamsport, Maryland; as well as many, many friends. A funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 20th at Peace Lutheran, College Station, at 10:30 am., Sunday, Sept. 21, at 2:00 pm at Joy Lutheran in Richmond. Interment will be in Williamsport, Maryland.
